Kershaw model 4470 stag-handled "Survival" knife. Though the model was designated the "Survival" knife, the double-edged design is more of a large boot knife or dagger. This knife was part of series of stag-handled knives that Kershaw had made under contract in Solingen, Germany in the mid 1980's. This series was made by Anton Wingen Jr., one of Solingen's finest and most respected brands. The series consisted of five fixed blade models and two or three folders. This model was the second largest next to the bowie model and is very difficult to find today. These knives were expensive in 1984-85 with this model
