RIALTO switchblades
Does anyone know anything about RIALTO switchblades?
Re: RIALTO switchblades
Good question...I just e-mailed a dealer who carries them
http://www.888knivesrus.com/product/IT2 ... _R_Us.html
and asked the name of the Italian who makes them...Maybe it might be a better source for a better quality Italian made knife, who knows!

Re: RIALTO switchblades
hahaha that is exactly where i saw the knives. That website's prices look pretty good for the stilettos. If you happen to get any info, then please pass it on down the grapevine!
Re: RIALTO switchblades
I have a funny feeling I won't hear from them...They may not want to revile who in Italy they get them from, who makes them...But hey I tried!
I think the only way we're going to find out the quality of them, is to buy one.
No one else has answered your question, so it seems no one knows who makes them.
We'll see!

Well, they did get back to me and like I though they didn't tell me the name of the maker, but what they did say was this;.....QuoitSwitchbladeMan100 wrote:hahaha that is exactly where i saw the knives. "As far as I can tell they are about the same quality. If you don't like
Frank's I would not suggest ordering a Rialto.

That was the answer from the web site 888knivesrus.com
Now keep in mind, when I e-mailed them, I said this;...Quoit
"May I ask who in Italy is the maker of these RIALTO 2006 ITALIAN STILETTO
SWITCHBLADE Automatics, what is his name?..The reason I ask is because the
crap that I see coming from Italy made by Frank Beltrame is not worth $20
never mind what they are selling for here in the States. I've seen China
made Stilettos made as well and sometimes even better. I'm hoping that this
is a better made stiletto, made with some care. Would you be so kind as to
tell me what the makers name is? Is it Renzo Beltrame? His are a little
better than Frank B. and from what I understand they are not related. At
least Rezno's are straight and tight and the safeties work and the pivot
bolster swivels and they lock up every time properly. Frank has been putting
out some real crap and I personalty have had it with his knives. Thank you" Unquoit
If I only knew!

Re: RIALTO switchblades
Somebody asked about these a couple years ago, and nobody really found out much either. My guess is somebody had a special contract run made and supplied the stamp, or requested a stamp made. Notice they say rialto 2006.

The more I thought about this, the more I remembered something about these maybe being fakes. They appeared about the same time as the fake AKC's. Only thing I could find was a post on the old sharperdeals site, ans I don't think we came to any real conclusions about the Rialtos.

Haha, I've had multiple italian stilettos of various qualities, and I love my Rialto more than some that I've payed 130 for, because its reliable and I've had it for 4 years. I would recommend buying one.

Anyways, I could swear I read on one of the forums that these "rialto" knives are manufactured by Frank B. but I could be wrong. I also seem to recall reading somewhere that they are asian counterfeits. Don't expect anything all too much different from any of the other standard production stilettos out on the market right now, besides of course the different stamp.
Re: RIALTO switchblades
I heard somwhere that rialto is made by campolin. It was awhile back i heard about it.
