Dolphins Maniago Falcon 11" Italian Stiletto Ring Pull

Post by Bartlow »

This is a Dolphins Maniago 'Falcon' 11" Stiletto with a ring pull to release the blade from the open position. Hand made in Maniago, Italy by Alex Spadon according to Perry Knife Works, which is where I got it. This one is a left hand model with horn scales. It is very well made and works great, at least in my opinion. Also shown is Dolphins swag, a ball point pen. I got the pen from Defense Outfitters, not PKW. But it's neat.

Same knife as the AKC version of the French Cartailler Delux, but without finger guards.

Nice Falcon dude! I don't have one of those but I did get one of the "Shark" models when they started making them. It was early 2024, I think.

I actually asked Francesco if they could make me a Shark in Ram's Horn. Before it shipped to the U.S. he said it took three knives to make the one Ram's Horn Shark and I might end up with the only one in the world!

I assumed they had some struggles dressing them in Ram's Horn for whatever reasons. It is a lockback so maybe it had something to do that, I don't know.

Cheers.

The white pearlex I shared is 9”, from 2015. I can’t remember the AKC models. And, I’m not sure if A.G.A. Campolin offered these in 11” or not. Could be.
