Switchblade from Italy

Post by Fan.of.history »

Hello all, this is my first post but would like some help identifying this blade and possibly its worth as I may be looking to sell. I’ve had it a long time and only found out so much about it. It’s a Fiani Guido Frosolone Campobasso sorry for poor photos had to compress them. It is missing safety but I do have it.

.
Do NOT clean it, polish it, sharpen it, fix it, etc.
Any of this would drastically reduce the value of a scarce and valuable knife! This knife is worth getting restoration by a professional (like Bill)!

I don’t know much about compressing pictures, but that’s what it does to photos?

It's the rare "glow in the dark Frosolone!"

I could probably tone it down a little bit.

Please excuse my ignorance here, but why does it need new scales? It looks like an old pre-ban piece, right?
---so wouldn't the value be severely reduced if the original scales are replaced? I don't see any real damage to them or anything.... or am I missing something?

Yes, value would be greatly reduced with new scales. Makes absolutely no sense to
Replace them.

It doesn't need new handles. It's an old joke.
