I think my '64 Pontiac Catalina had some metal flake in the clear sections of the steering wheel, but not to that extent.

The 1968-72 Schwinn Stingray Krate bikes I collected, have that sparkle in the banana seats. Certainly time-period correct...

When I was in the 6th grade a kid in school put a set of tricycle handel bars on one of those and he could ride a wheelie for what seemed like forever on it.
