I doubt it. Mike is having some back issues from a car wreck a few years ago.

I just received a knife 2 days ago from Mike Latham, can't be gone. Emailed with him last week. Maybe the site is under maintenance. *Edit*- Just checked, and sad to say his online store DOES appear closed.

Mike is fine.
He's going to be in the hobby-just not running a business.

Saw this on Face Book. Sad but as Bill stated here and on FB Mike will still be collecting and doing deals. I must admit, I never bought anything from him as I felt his "listed" prices were way too high.

Tom, I felt the same way but anymore, the prices seem too high everywhere. I came close to buying an 11 inch GC Co.from him and when I went to took at his site again last night, it was gone. Sorry to see it go.

High or not, the seller owns the items and they set the price. If you gotta have it you pay the price or look elsewhere for what you want. Many of us here remember when you could get a nice 9" stiletto for $35 but you'll never see those prices for a Italian stiletto. Good old days are over but it is what it is.

I remember those prices well and also when you could buy a decent 8 inch picklock in the $125-150 range.

I'm super bummed to see the site go. I checked the site daily and got some incredible knives there, ones I couldn't find anywhere else. Top quality stuff and the customer service was great. I'm glad Mike is okay, and will miss the store.
