I realize that I’m reviving an old string, but I was wondering about replacing a round kick spring on the newer Böker 712R leverlocks. Are those round “music wire” springs, somehow, slipped into an assembled knife? Or, does the knife require disassembly and then placing the spring into the rear bolster slot from the side? (That’s the only way I’ve ever replaced one.)
Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

The round springs go in without disassembly
