I have a couple of air rifles my dad left me when he passed away, A Crossman Pump Master 760 and a Daisy model 225. I love them but the stray cats not so much.
These older Diana Model 50 air rifles came in two velocities: the standard version which shot a .177 pellet at ~175 meter per second, and a more powerful version which made the same pellet go ~280 meter per second.
My rifle is the stronger version.
Here in the Netherlands it's still possible to buy brand new replacement parts for this model, like springs, seals, screws, and diopters.

Don't know how the 760 is now but when I was a kid they were pretty lethal on black birds when the old daisy would leave a lot of them flying off.
That's why I use the Daisy on the stray cats, I don't want to kill them, just discourage them from hanging around.

If you have animals hanging around amonia is a good way to chase them off. Get a spray bottle and spray it where they hang out and they won't be there for long.
