Cool knife! I wonder what company this is? I’ve read many posts about this company but the info seems wrong...over and over and over…JulesVane wrote: Sun Sep 28, 2025 4:23 pm 8.5" DeerFoot shell puller stamped Virginia over Inox (F), Patent (R), lockback release. Nickel silver and "D" stamped liner. But, I'm not sure if the dyed brown jigged bone scales are genuine or imitation(?). If I'm not mistaken, I believe I've read these deerfoot models were a Renzo Pascotto design/production(?), and maybe that is what the patent stamp is about. I presumed the knife to be 1960's, or, is the Virginia stamp more 1970's? Very well built and happy to have it.

Thank you! I've recently wondered about the VIRGINIA stamp as well. I've read it was a 1960's-70's stamp, as this piece is likely in that area. But, I could have sworn I saw a VIRGINIA stamp on what appeared to be a 1950's picklock with a bayo blade. Naturally, I could be mistaken.OldIsGold wrote: Mon Dec 08, 2025 9:57 pm

I heard they started in the early 1950s by two brothers in Milano…not related to any Maniago companies.JulesVane wrote: Mon Dec 08, 2025 10:27 pmThank you! Here is my Virginia. Although people keep posting that Virginia and Jndiana were the same company Virginia was NOT associated with Jndiana at all.JulesVane wrote: Sun Sep 28, 2025 4:23 pm 8.5" DeerFoot shell puller stamped Virginia over Inox (F), Patent (R), lockback release.
