11 in. light horn stiletto - Sold

Post by jim d, »

11 in. light horn swivel bolster stiletto free from any of the common issues; has good snap. tight lockup, sits deep, no liner gap etc. Bought new about 18 years ago, stored in my knifechest, stamped "Stiletto" over "Italy" (a Frank B stamp I believe). Great translucent horn which I tried to capture in the photos. What looks like a chip in the horn on the front bottom isn't (not sure what it is), also on the back scale near the top what looks like it might be a crack is actually a white streak. $85 + $8 shipping

Thanks Jeff - I don't like to hype knives that I'm selling, and coming from you, who has seen a knife or two or maybe three  it is meaningful.

That is some pretty horn especially with the red streaks in it, I would almost swear that knife filtered through my hands at one time. :D

Well for a couple of years I was literally blind and in a wheelchair then went to bed one night and got up well, of course I was thrown in a hospital and tested, poked, and drove crazy while they tried to figure out why. Finally the called it a miracle and since then I have concentrated fully on my kids. But don't worry the knife fever never left!
