I think I've reached my limit. I'm just getting too old. Y'all younger guys are taking over admirably.

That's a terrific question that I can't really answer. I have heard Latama in a box is early but the flatguards are all Latama in script, slanted, either over Made in Italy, or Italy.

Amazing collection! I don't think I've ever seen so many Latamas on one place.

Wonderful collection!!!
But I think you miss-typed in stating "I'm just getting too old" was meant to read "I'm just getting started".

I'm just astounded that people can even FIND that many vintage Italian switchblades!
No big knife shows anywhere near me so the very few older knives that I own, have largely been found hit-or-miss at flea markets and such.
All of the Latama stilettos that I've seen so far have horn scales. I also have an old fishtail that looks identical to a Latama --and was probably made by the same people in the same shop-- but alas has no markings.... that one has wooden scales. Does anyone know of Latamas with other scale materials? Stag, maybe? Just wondering.....
