Selling my MIKOV OTF collection

Post by tanto »

Hello all. I am slowly closing my Mikov business. After over 20 years of sometimes very difficult cooperation with the Mikov factory I am getting really tired. They now have new owner, new management and new ideas. I do not agree with most of them so I decided to quit. I will keep my website open till I sell my last knife and that might take some time. So if you are interested in any of my knives, just let me know.

But this is something different. I have accumulated some interesting MIKOV OTFs over the years and they all will go as well. I will keep just one with CF scales but the standard models are all for sale. Even very interesting commemorative piece. I know you all know - but these were discontinued in 1989 or so and only few of them are still circulating.

All knives work (fire) well, some louder, some not so loud. I have arranged them so the first one from top has the best looking blade, the last one on bottom is … well … not so nice.

Here is also link to YT video: https://youtu.be/M34HvdWe7mY
I would like to get 390 USD a piece (490 for the brass one). First two will also get nice leather sheath, the brass piece will have one as well. The price includes registered airmail shipping. If you wish to use PayPal I would appreciate if you could cover the PP fee.

Hello,

Nice knives posted and none that I have but...none that I will probably get.
I think I have bought a few knives from you over the past 20 years and sorry to hear of the change though I certainly understand. My knife collecting has taken a side car and then more of a backseat to other things over the past few years. Life is a bit of a roller coaster from time to time for everyone and they say all things have their season.

From all the years that you have been doing this, what are some of your favorite Mikov knives? Maybe more suited for a different post but would love to see what you have loved.

Hoping to see some more interesting posts from you.
Good luck with your endeavors!

I do have the Leverletto kits if you are interested. The minis are gone long time ago...

No interest in Mikov OTFs? Once they are gone they are gone forever...

The OTFs are still available. I can offer quantity discount if you take more than one.
