Italian or German blade ?
So i have been looking for a particular style of a birdsbeak leverlock to replace one i sold years ago, I'm pretty sure that the one I sold was stamped AB but recently came across one on AIK site stamped Eye Brand from Germany both have identical long clip point blade with same scroll design ( procrastinated to long and missed that one ) anyway now I'm curious as to who actually made the blade , did it come from Germany or Italy? These are harder to find than the more common short ones with bayo blade ,they are 9 1/2" open. any input is appreciated.

I agree.

I agree as well. I have one just like the AB stamped one in the photo. It is a very nice knife.

Tryker , that's a good question . A lot of stuff on AIK site is a bit overpriced, they have some nice stuff but a little pricey $$$

Re: Italian or German blade ?
I don't think that was made for export to Germany because of the 8.5 cm blade length restriction on autos there and that blade looks longer.
Re: Italian or German blade ?
Another factor contributing to the price is likely the stamp. The AB stamped ones were freely available in the early 2000's but this is the first time I have seen that stamp.

Barry Adams is a great guy for years now!

You are right Tom, I met Barry at the Atlanta show back in the 2010 - 2012 timeframe. He had a table and we had a great conversation.
