Feast your eyes
I recently picked up one of the crown jewels in my collection… a JTK double. This one is going with me

One button fires both blades??
Re: Feast your eyes
Beautiful knife Mike.
Love Jeremys creations and double bladers are rare and cool.
You could see that bad boy popping up in a film somewhere.
Ill bet that wasnt an easy one to make either.
Great Score mate.

Re: Feast your eyes
damn, that's a badass knife, looks like a double ended version of one of those rizzuto variants, only much nicer. Every time somebody posts one of his knives I'm always really struck by the creativity and build quality. I would love to see somebody bust that out in a movie!

Re: Feast your eyes
Yeah, one half of the button is connected to one rocker, with the end of the second rocker just under the other half of the button. It's pretty straight forward in that respect; the hard part is making both blades lock into place at the exact same instant. If they aren't exact, it makes this cli-click noise. Making both blades create a single click sound is the important thing.boblees812 wrote:One button fires both blades??

Re: Feast your eyes
If a cli-click noise is the biggest problem with this knife I'd call this a massive success lol

Re: Feast your eyes
Jeremy likes to play this knife down but I think he's just being modest ... The knife snaps open hard (both blades) and locks up tight. This is one of my favorites and I can't see ever parting with it.
Mike
btw... Thanks for all the kind words guys!

Sooo.... where's the sign up list... haha once I have funds again, I'm gonna want one of those beautiful creations.
Looking for those un-repairable, lost cause stilettos.
