Back spring sticking up?

Those 4.5" ones have very uneven pieces so sometimes the backspring sticks out farther than the liner, sometimes the liner sticks out, sometimes the bolsters are way off center.

If the backspring is pushed out by the kickspring when closed, that can be bad but an uneven piece like that isn't.

Knives made from old and mismatched parts will always have something special about them usually cosmetic.
