Opinions of Omerta 11" Picklock knives.
I have one of the Omerta Picklock stilettos with a 1095 steel bayonet blade and have had it for at least four years. I like this stiletto as is seems better constructed than some of my Italian knives. These are American made and proudly so.

The Omerta knives may be assembled here, but the parts are Chinese.
The maker/seller of these knives is a sociopathic crook.

Straydog doesn't fake knives. Ruben and JB do.

I see. Someone somewhere is selling "AGA Campolin" ring-pull, automatics that are patterned after the old "Hecho In Mexico" picklocks that were somewhat blocky and seems to have the constitution of a 1946, Dodge Flathead in-line six engine. While appearing a bit crude, they were well sorted out, reliable mechanisms and the blades were either 1095 or 1075 Carbon Steel Standard blade.
I'll have to find myself one of those.

Hello Fishtail Picklock. I know it’s been a while since you posted this, but I was wondering if you ever found this AGA Campolin. Recently, I bid on an older one. It was really nice with what looked like nickel silver bolsters and dark horn scales. I didn’t win it, and now I’m looking for another one. I’ve seen a couple new ones by Straydog with the solid brass bolsters that are pretty cool. If AGA remade it, I’m really interested. If you did find one and wouldn’t mind, please post pictures. Thank you!Fishtail Picklock wrote: ↑Sun Aug 26, 2018 3:51 am I see. If you can find one made by Straydog you should get it if you're looking for one. He does some really nice work!

Thank you, Sammy the Blade! The two I saw of his were cool modern twists on the original design while I'm looking for something more traditional. If I can find one by him made more like the old design, I'll be glad to know it’s well made. Thanks again for the post!sammy the blade wrote: ↑Fri Jul 17, 2020 1:06 am If you can find one made by Straydog you should get it if you're looking for one. He does some really nice work!
