Toy switchblade from Japan.
Looks like a switchblade comb but it has a plastic/rubber blade instead of a comb. Pretty cool novelty I wish I could translate the details for everyone but I can’t... hope you enjoy the images. Going to try and order this and if I manage to figure out how to do that and It actually comes in the mail I’ll post better pictures if anyone is interested. Lol I think this is pretty cool.. hope some of you find this just as entertaining as I do.

Re: Toy switchblade from Japan.
I forgot to add that along with collecting vintage switchblade knives I have been collecting switchblade combs and other toy autos/ butterfly knives as well this is just the type of thing that would fit into that category. Mostly got into it because of the cool graphics on the boxes and packaging. Some of them have some really neat looking advertising on the boxes and they look great next to my NATO’s and Super-Automatic Springer knife boxes on display.
One of these days I’ll post some pictures so you guys can see what I mean.

I really like it.
Love the packaging and blade markings and the false hamon on the plastic blade. It will be a collectable and good fun to mess with .
Price is a giveaway 690 Japanese yen about 7 dollars so well worth it.
Keep us posted ,i would have one just as a novelty item like the flick combs.
Thanks for sharing it

I had a comb, but my son took it to actually use. I got to get another one.

Don't think it will be much of a whittler though.
