Pick Lock Pat Havlin

Post by JayAK80 »

I received my first PLP Havlin knife today. I got this one from the source! Thanks Pat! Also, thank you to ILikeStilettos for putting me in contact with Pat!

I have a couple more PLPs coming, I will add pics as they arrrive.

I can’t get over the quality and craftsmanship of this knife. It truely is a work of art! You really have to see and hold one in person to fully appreciate its beauty.

Pics incoming...

The knife is a Frosolone pattern, 9-1/2 inches long, 5/32" thick blade and springs, 1/16" thick bolsters.

It is rock solid with zero blade play, and kicks like a mule with lightening fast action. I’m beyond pleased.

Absolutely stunning looking knife and beautiful work 8)
.
I would love an example made by Pat ,they are the rembrandts of the italian switchblade art and will be awed at for a long time after we are gone.

I have wanted to get one made and once contacted Pat ,but soon after had 2 knives seized .
I would not risk those nice men at british customs taking something like this....losing a Frenchie or transitional is bad but these beauties....I would be suicidal. :)

Great knife Jay...classy materials and handmade by a master and one of a kind ...doesnt get much better really .

Thanks for sharing it.

Wow - that's gorgeous. As a newcomer to Italian stilettos, it's startling to see what appears to be a traditional Italian-made Frosolone that's so refined and immaculately clean, straight, and tight from stem to stern. Beautiful attention to the smallest detail.
