AB 6" switchblade
I saw a knife on a site termed/described as "Italian AB switchblade knife - 6". The blade is stamped AB over Italy. The button and lock what looks like to me, to be closer to the top bolster and the hole in the blade (seer hole?) appears to go all the way through. Real or knockoff?
Re: AB 6" switchblade
Actually the button and lock may be the same placement as any other knife. Too early in the morning for me to be up lol. But what about the hole, my understanding is real Italians, the hole didn't go all the way through. Am I wrong/mislead?

Good morning Scott...Sounds like a "real" Armando Beltrame piece to me.

Please post a photo or the website’s link that’s offering the AB stiletto.

It's not my intent to get anyone in trouble, I was just curious.

Re: AB 6" switchblade
I think it looks fishy at best. The bolsters seem to lack definition like many of the cheap Asian stilettos, though that could just be an effect of the light. And the hole for the button and safety slot are too big. I can't remember ever seeing a gap like that on an Beltrame knife. Maybe it is a rescale but with those factors, I would advise on passing.

Re: AB 6" switchblade
The hole through the blade does kind of throw me too. It's been awhile since I bought a new one. When did they start putting the hole through?
Re: AB 6" switchblade
I could be wrong, but, to me it looks very similar to the ones from Dhgate.
Re: AB 6" switchblade
I could swear I saw one similar any, maybe like an 11" or 13".

I now see the link John was nice enough to post...that's supposed to be a 6" knife? It appears longer than 6" closed. I have no personal knowledge of the site myself. But, Bill's comment says it all.

After reading all if the negative comments I took a look at the photos on my laptop and I must agree it’s a fake. So sorry for my original comment.
