Getting old...

Do you want to talk about your beautiful country, family, or dog? Would you like to say where you went on holiday or how you arranged the garden? Are you willing to tell us you girlfriend left you for a(nother) loser? Do you have ANY non knife-related topic you want to discuss? This is the place!

Getting old...

Post by Fishtail Picklock »

At 6:30 a.m. PST, I will have been born 63 years ago. Sometimes my joints hurt (I try to stay out of those). :P I don't drink, smoke or use any kinds of drugs (unless they are prescribed and only when they are absolutely necessary).

Weaknesses? Good knives, good guns, good food, sunny beaches, (not the kind that lives next door) and making live performances. Relaxing times and good people.

Bless you all and have a great holiday season.

Thank you for your kind and topical wishes, youngster. Understand, those pains are just your body's way of telling you systems are GO. Actually, some have probably gone already, but you get the idea.....

First Happy Birthday.....Second at 58 I know how you feel.....I too never smoked, don't drink, and exercise every day. No meds other than a vitamin and never did drugs.....That said I am starting to get pains in my foot as I walk about 5 miles a day.....I have found cuts and muscle pulls take longer to get better, but I guess I am doing ok....I too like knives, guns, and freshwater fishing! Keep a young mind it helps!

I hope you have a great Birthday my freind.

I will raise a glass to you this side of the pond and drink to your health.
Think of the good times you have had and those that are still to come
As natcherley says the aches and the pains are there just to let us know we are still alive and kicking on this testing " plane of existence."

I wish you all the best sir and hope to speak soon.

Take care of yourself
My best wishes to you Sir!

Happy Birthday Fishtail.

I always advise the young people "Don't get old", but they never listen.

Happy belated birthday I hope you had a wonderful time and I wish you a wonderful 63rd year and many more to come. You’re a year younger than I and all I can ask is: where would be be without those aches and pains?
