I looked at the auction site one minute before closing and the highest bid was $690.

SOLD! The knife is now en-route to its new owner down south!
Thanks everyone for all your help in giving me some direction on how to go about getting this knife into a collectors hands at a fair trade value. Hopefully, this sale helps a bit in future transactions to reference a current market value. I know one transaction doesn't tell all, but its something!

This was a really fun experience for me to learn about a field I hardly knew anything about, while, essentially finding a stack on money in my basement :) Most of the proceeds will be handed over to Mr. Benjamin Moor, so I see it as the knife simply transformed further into the house!

Now i'd better go check in the attic! :)

That's a great knife. I have heard some people say this model (the 22cm, right) is fron the 30s and some say they are 40s. I think they are older than the bigger guard, tapered body ones like in the first post of this thread.
