I'm under the impression that the brand comes only in 11" or 13".

If that's the case he'll be looking for awhile.

My first thought was to offer him an 11" and a hacksaw for the bargain price of $1000, but that would have just pissed off all the people who think I am too rude already.

Is that recent production or something from a while back? Another person said he wanted one. This is the first I have heard of them. Pictures, please!

Had some questions about the Latamas:

1. Walt's site hasn't had any available in quite some time. How often are these produced/available for sale?
2. When they are produced, do they produce all types and sizes? As in classics, wasps, 11" and 13" etc?
3. Is the one they show in the picture on the website the exact one you get?
4. How many do they produce? How long does it usually take for them to sell out?

Thanks!

I have a couple of Walt's 9"ers with the Cat Logo, one is a flat guard picklock with filework, the other is 5mm classic with ram's horn. They are not marked Latama, however.

they did make them in 9" with 5mm thick bayonet blade , they have the cat logo tang stamp with the C inside of a Q. there were 300 made in brazilian, blackhorn, blondhorn, stag, abalone, ramshorn, and some tactical models as well. as far as i know they were only made once , they were made by Frank Beltrame and family .

Metalgod is correct! While there are presently none in the marketplace, these pieces were produced in 2012 and later. I sold my last one to Thom!

Do you ever get any of these to sell Bernie? Where can they be purchased from (if anywhere?).

Not speaking on Metalgod's behalf, but there are none of these pieces in the marketplace at present. If you find one, buy it!

I am constantly looking for Walt's knives. Along with the rest of the world.
