Chilean 'Corvo' Commando Dagger
Would a Chilean 'Corvo' Commando Dagger be legal in the UK?
Re: Chilean 'Corvo' Commando Dagger
I live in the USA and I do know UK knife laws can be strict but unless there is a certain law(s) on "length" I doubt seriously if there would be a problem.
The "hooked" blade poses no significant threat over a standard dagger or Bowie style knife.
From what I understand World War I and II daggers and fighting knives are popular collectibles in the UK and see no reason a Chilean Corvo.
I found a photo of a Corvo I really like. I had never gave them much thought until now.

I've not seen one before. The blade looks like the same material as the handle/ scabbard. I'm assuming it's not, though.
I'd rather have a Bottle-in-Front-of-me, than a Frontal-Lobotomy!

According to the website the sheath is leather but looks plastic in the photo.Krab-E wrote:I've not seen one before. The blade looks like the same material as the handle/ scabbard. I'm assuming it's not, though.

U.K. laws are strict and conplex but my guess would be they are NOT legal [to carry] with a few exceptions [Legal to own?] In my state [in the U.S.] all knives are legal: switchblades, gravity knives, cane-knives, comb-knives, oversized knives, you name it, all are legalPrecision V wrote:Would a Chilean 'Corvo' Commando Dagger be legal in the UK?
Re: Chilean 'Corvo' Commando Dagger
I kinda doubt it, anything other than a dull butter knife with a 1/8 blade or longer might be concidered exstremePrecision V wrote:Would a Chilean 'Corvo' Commando Dagger be legal in the UK?
