Re: burnt fingers
You were clearly caught, and then tried again?
If there isn't some action as a result of this you'll be doing well.

Yes I've owned two of them. The top one I got directly out of Argentina. The other one came from Argentina but went through another hand before me. personally I believe they may be a frosolone connection to them ?There are a few similaritys to this 10" unstamped Frosolone I found. The Argentina are also 10"peter42 wrote:hi dragonsteel is that an argentinian leverlock stilettodragonsteel wrote:Sorry to here you lost one. Re: burnt fingers
Sorry to hear this! I lost two nice pieces months ago. And no, I wouldn't freak out for having another one on the way. You're not ordering them by the hundred, and I can't see the postal inspectors coming to see you over two seized knives. Again, sorry to hear this!
Re: burnt fingers
Bad luck mate.
that second knife is really cool I haven't seen one of those before

Dragonsteel, that is amazing. They opened it and still let you have it? The officer who opened it must have been a knife enthusiast! Of course, I am sure enforcement of that stupid law is a very low priority.dragonsteel wrote:Sorry to here you lost one. I've been pretty lucky .This one was even open and still made it.
Peter, sorry to hear you lost one. Hope your other one makes it.

Re: burnt fingers
Dude, customs sucks!
What the hell are they suppose to be doing with actions like that? You could do more lasting damage with a set of sharpened pencils, than with a damn switchblade. A law that has no logic, is a waste of tax payers money to enforce, and sets a poor example for a "justice system."
It's not about "you knew the probability of seizure"... this is America. It should be about "you knew your liberty to decide for yourself." simply ridiculous
I know I've said different, but in that other situation, there was the hope of receiving them eventually. I know the law is the law, but damnit!... its about time the law changed
I feel for you, brother! that completely sucks!

Hello Peter,
That is terrible news. I hope you will continue to collect knives. I'm sure it was a random act that resulted in an awful outcome for you. I wouldn't worry about the law coming after you. Knife laws are ridiculous. How can a knife be more dangerous than a gun?
