where to buy?

hey guys i wanna get my brother a Wave butterfly knife for his birthday but i cant find anything on ebay or craigslist, and was wonderin if you guys had some trusted sites you used for buying butterflys. any and all help would be appreciated thank you

kozak6 is right,if you dont put loctite on the screws they will losen very quickly and the knife will come apart.

are waves pretty durable knives? in general or should i get somehting else

theyre great for fun but no theyre not very durable the master balisongs are built better but they will come apart too if you dont use loctite.

these have a variety of scale matierals and they are built better than the wave balisong knives but I still recomend using loc-tite on the screws.

Two options, Typhoon kit for around 70 bucks or a Benchmade 42.
Anything else is a waste of money if you want a durable balisong.

Id go with the benchmade myself,its pricey but worth the $$$

The Spyderco Spyderfly is also around $70, and is also supposed to be quite durable, but many feel it flips awkwardly.

the thing I dont like about spyderflys aside from awkward flipping is that it doesnt lock open.
