Hey everyone, I just recently discovered this forum about a week ago. This is a wicked site, I'm very impressed!! (and jealous of many of the kicka** balis many of you own.
I've only been collecting balisongs for about a year. Being in Canada, getting them is a little trickier. So far I have about 5 cheaper knives, mostly Jags. Then 5 more on the way, one of them being my very first Benchmade 43!!! I can't wait. Anybody got any tips for the best place to buy Balis (that will send to Canada?). I'm currently using knifezilla and ebay. Which is enough for me as I'm finding plenty to spend my cash on..... Sure glad to see I'm not the only one with this addiction
We do have a few members from up north, that I'm sure could help with many questions you wish to ask. You're gonna love your BM their quality is far above that of Jag and the other cheepies.
Right now I have 9 different knives on the way. Some cheapies for buddies and then, get ready for it...
A BM43 with spring latch, a BM42 with regular latch, and 2 vintage spearpoint bone & brass balis!!!!! I can't wait!!!!

Hey Hammerface, funny, I was just going to start a thread very similar to the one you've just started, guess I'l just follow yours, I was going to order from Knifezilla\PVK, but man, they take a long time to ship, can anybody suggest other bali sites I might check out.

hey blackjack - good to see another canuck on the board. yeah, pvk is usually pretty good but right now I have 4 knives that I have been waiting for for 31 days and counting. One of them is a BM43 so it's KILLING ME
I'm sure they will get here I just hope it's soon. Kinda makes me not want to order through there when there is such a long wait. But we'll see. I'm sure they're doing their best.
