Magicians Balisong

I realized when watching this vid that I've never seen a balisong that looks like the one this magician stabbed through his hand.
Can anyone identify the knife? Did he build this knife?

That balisong does actually look familiar to me. I'll see if I can't track down some pics.

edit: I was thinking of this one from the movie "Hannibal Rising"...

That guy even had a 3 out of 4 chance of missing the knife. What horrible luck to boot...
I guess it just goes to show you that bad luck is the end result of poor planning and preparation for a dangerous act

What a dumbass.

That took a lot of rehab to recover from that. He's luckynthat he did not lose use of his hand.

The typ of balisong which he uses in the video is made by the cutlery Nieto in Spain. Nieto offers it in great variaty of handle inlays. Zamak liners/bolsters. They are quite cheap, but still better than chinese made ones. Medium quality in my opinion.
