Pacific Cutlery Int. Series Bali

Post by BTB0923 »

I have the opportunity to buy a Pacific Cutlery (later turned into Benchmade) International Edition Balisong that is marked 1985. Its cool that it came from Pacific Cutlery in 1985, but from what I understand the International Edition knives might have been imported by them not made by them. Anybody know if this knife is collectible despite the fact that it may have been imported?

Thanks!

I have a couple from around that time. They were the more economical PC knives. I would guess they are collectable just because of the PC brand.

I'm not sure how PC became Benchmade, there is a public relations approved version, however I think they got into some financial difficulties and Les de Asis moved and became head honcho at Benchmade.
