Thanks guys!

Just put some vid caps together of the bali in the movie. As you can see the slots in the handle don't go all the way through. Hmmmm....does that say Benchmade USA on the blade? The bottom vid cap shows the spring knife, no ears, no pivot pins, etc.

i thought it looked as though they didn't go all the way through, but is there a knife with a handle like that? the fake "spring" knife most likely would be like that, so you won't see any internals...maybe on the actual bali they taped off the inside to make it look like the prop knife, you know, for continuity.....yeah, that's it.....

i dunno, the writing is too unclear, but it looks more like an "M" that it starts with...

That sorta looks like a Jag classic... I wonder if the real knife in the movie is a wee-hawk or a small clip point blade?

handles look like a 239, but the blade on a 239 or the the jags i've seen didn't have a swedge like that. maybe an older pacific or bali-song inc international series.
