OK, I have decided I want a custom Bali.....hence the question "Which One"
I want a 4" blade of D2 ( unless someone has a better idea) I like Titanium handles but am open to other ideas. I have questions as to the durablity of the wood inlay handles.
The only balis I have work with are my own that I had for 15 years, I'd say its time for a custom.
Last thing, I'd like to keep the price under $800.00 USD.

Myself i would go with a v-carbon or D2 blade and titanium handles with multiple layer fire effect anodize........
for that cash, D-ski is the way to go. If i had the cash id get a 4in d2 scimitar, carbon fiber inserts in ti handels and satin coated! But hey, i can dream. check out balisongtimes.com if you havent already for more on customs.
One question, do the wood, bone or CF inserts on the handles hold up well. I´ve always wondered if the actions of the fly would knock em loose. I check out the D-ski balis. I´d really like to buy a matched set. One for each hand.

His knives are close to the "old school" PCC/BM customs. They are also a few steps above the older stuff. Considering what Chris charges, you can't go wrong with a 29. I have only one but plan on adding a few more, as soon as I can.
