Custom Bali - Which One?

Post by .45acp »

OK, I have decided I want a custom Bali.....hence the question "Which One" :)

I want a 4" blade of D2 ( unless someone has a better idea) I like Titanium handles but am open to other ideas. I have questions as to the durablity of the wood inlay handles.

The only balis I have work with are my own that I had for 15 years, I'd say its time for a custom.

Last thing, I'd like to keep the price under $800.00 USD.

Thanks folks.

for that cash, D-ski is the way to go. If i had the cash id get a 4in d2 scimitar, carbon fiber inserts in ti handels and satin coated! But hey, i can dream. check out balisongtimes.com if you havent already for more on customs.

Thanks for the ideas guys.

One question, do the wood, bone or CF inserts on the handles hold up well. I´ve always wondered if the actions of the fly would knock em loose. I check out the D-ski balis. I´d really like to buy a matched set. One for each hand.

Thanks,

Steve

29 knives

Post by navajo »

His knives are close to the "old school" PCC/BM customs. They are also a few steps above the older stuff. Considering what Chris charges, you can't go wrong with a 29. I have only one but plan on adding a few more, as soon as I can. :D
