I'm not sure. These were made from the same parts as the spring loaded OTFs. The spring knives were produced from the mid 1950s until after Bonsa shut down in 1982. Bonsa's assets were sold to Robert Klaas. Perhaps these were made from left over parts, or were a separate product. I never saw any of these on the Bonsa sales sheets from the 1970s.
