These are pretty cool knives overall. They don't have D-stamped liners, and the bolsters are plated stainless, but they are fully lined on all 4 ears. Some minor gapping inthe spine, but I've seen far worse. Blade and blackspring is a bit fatter than the ones being produced now. Nice fit and finish overall, very straight all around, scales are in great (new) condition and a very hard crack open. Despite the fact that there is minimal play in the open position, the hole in the locking tab is twice the size of the blade pin. A cool find.

Mr. Magnum and Mr. Edge,

If if weren't for the plastic scales I believe this one stands up to any of the FBs, SKs, AKCs or who ever. The ones I got are fast, straight and lock up tite. Very different. One nice thing about the scales is you have a good grip on this knife.
I give them a 8 out of 10. How about you Mr. Edge

Sounds about right...8ish. They make a wild cracking sound when they open due to the hard plastic. A cool collectible.

mr_edge - in case you were wondering....
Molletta in the Napoli dialect means "spring knife".
