Less Rub and Polish

Post by Blackhawk »

Hello. Does anyone know if there is anything available to treat or apply to nickel siver to impede or prevent tarnish? My ivory Puma looks so much better when the bolsters are gleaming bright, but I'd like to find a way not to have to polish or tuouch up all the time. Thanks.

Hi Blackhawk, for nickel silver and brass I have sworn by Flitz polish for many years. As well as on metal I use it as final hand polish on horn, stag, and bone stag.It won't prevent tarnish but it puts it off some.

Renaissance wax seems to work really good at preventing tarnish on metals.
