Dremel polishing paste

Post by Simeon »

I bought one "can" a while ago and recently opened it first time.

It was hard and solid as dry mud! :?
Should it be like that? How it is used then? :?:

Or has the "best before" -date experied some time ago...?

Thanks in advance!

Mine was like that as well, until I put the polishing dingus in the can while it was running.
It soon became easier to apply when it got a little warmer.
And it still worked, at least for me.

PS: My father has polishing tools to take care of his wood carving equipment.
In his box, there's a block of polishing paste.
Hard as a rock until you apply it to the running wheel.
I'm not sure wether it's supposed to be like that or not, but it works.

It is supposed to be that way. The turning polishing wheel melts the compound on to the wheel.
