ruger caliber or a .454 casull do so they are a lot of fun but make sure you have a firm grip on them before you squeeze the trigger or they will either flip out of your hand or give you a nice little reminder of how hard the recoil is on your forehead

GEE, that does sound like fun!

Me, too!'ve been looking for a deal on a Minx M4 (3-1/2" bbl.)
Used to have one that I could regularly hit a 50 rd. .22 box at 25 yards!
Neat little guns.

Magnum,
Thanks for the responce on the nitro.
I have never fired one either,or even seen one in real life except in photos but I have always been facinated by them.
The reason I asked the question is several years ago I was telling a young fellow who lived next door to me about them.this guy thought of himself as being really tough, and said he would shoot one with no problem.
I looked and asked everyone I knew if they knew anyone who had one,
I would have givin a 1000 dollars to some who had one just to let him shoot it,it would have been worth it to watch him get knocked on his ass

Natch
only one hand gun was made that I know of.check this out,
I don't think I would shoot this one handed.

Mr. Teq..

This might sound daft... but I'd rather have a go with that huge heavy revolver in .600 nitro-express than the same cartridge in a double rifle... I don't like the recoil on a three inch magnum 12 bore... mos' unpleasant !! ... in fact I ain't too keen on a standard 12 bore if'n it's got a fixed breach... gas auto's are fine... but a hot-loaded .44 mag doesn't bother me...

All the best

Teq

I thought the .45/70 revolver looked pretty massive :!: I can see that the gauntlet has been thrown. I guess I'll have to dust off those plans for a four shot revolver in .50 BMG. Or I might chamber it in .615 Super Natch (a .50 BMG case necked up to accept a 950 grain bullet). Bigger is always better, no?

Teq-No prob i haven't seen one either but have held a few of the cartridges and they are massive.Man that is what i call BIG BORE never seen a revolver so huge and I'm not scared to say i will not be firing one
no time soon  The .500 S&W magnum is the biggest i want to shoot
i can handle alot of recoil but i do have my limitations.I would have paid to have seen that guy shoot the .600 nitro myself so i could have gotten a good laugh when it put him on the ground

Natcherly-A 4 shot revolver in .50 BMG that would be cool 8)

Teddy-I shoot a 3 1/2 magnum 12 guage pump you think a standard 3" mag is bad shoot one of those

Very nice!
I see them on Gunbroker for a couple of hundred, but just haven't felt like getting one. I'm hoping to find one locally.

I'll try and locate my "Whamo" .22 and take a pic  Yes the same people who brought you the Frisbe, and Hula Hoop also made a .22 Pistol 8) The Gun Control Act of '68 ended that kind of Mail Order fun :(
