started a new knife
Just started this today. 8 1/4 inches long 410 stainless liners and 440c blade. It will be a lockback swinguard with 1095 spring and nickel silver bolsters and buffalo horn scales. After I grind the blade I will cut the other bit off as I use it as a handle while grinding. I will post more pics as I go.

100% onboard with what John said, I was beyond impressed with the results of your last endeavor brother, it was stunning. I have a fair number of swingers but not one of them is as "over engineered" as the one you made. I wouldn't hesitate to snag one if I could find such a heavy solid piece. I can only imagine that weight would add to the performance of the knife, should it ever be put to a use. I'd not recommend that, however, it should belong to a life of leisure!
Peace.
