Stain.

Post by SwitchGear »

I have a couple knives with a little staining from life on the coast.

I’m assuming you’d try to buff out with some fine sand paper then buffer...

The part that concerns me it the horn scales while sanding and buffing.
Do I need to take other steps to not damage them?

Thanks

You could try some masking tape over them.

Please post a picture of the knives, and I'll try to advise the best method.
