Hi Bill,
I have a beautiful stag transitional era swivel bolster stamped Rostfrei. It opens and closes just fine except when you barley touch the firing button opens very fast. The sliding safety seems a little loose to me but works as intended. What would you recommend to remedy this problem.
Thanks,
Jeff

Re: Hair trigger
Sometimes, if you're very lucky, the pivot pin is very loose. Tightening it can help the problem.
You can make sure there is no oil in the sear hole in the blade.
More likely, there is wear on the sear and the knife will need to be taken apart.

Thanks Bill. I'll give it a try.
