No problem, I'll drop it off next week but go ahead and do the rims and handle bars 8)

Here's the link to more pics of this incredible bike. Love that color and check out the rear brake rotor.

Missed opportunity! One of the more prominent pieces of flat polished steel is the air cleaner cover. Yes it has louvers, but still there is much room for creative engraving.

I agree but that air cleaner in my opinion cheapens the whole look. I understand he wants a minimal size to show off the rest but a smooth face/cover would have been much classier.
At a closer look the cover is actually solid but with louver-like grooves, at first I thought they were slots all the way through which would be of no use since the air travels through the outer diameter/filter.

I think some smooth chrome surface is a nice contrast to the engraving.

I think it's safe to say these people take this very seriously. I like the crown oil cap on the last pic. 8)
Some of these go well beyond engraving and gets into sculpting.

I had a drummer that wanted me to engrave his snare drum, but he never brought it.

Maybe off topic but does anyone know what engine it is on that fifth picture...under the engraved ironhead? Some ancient, extinct, American manufacturer?

Sorry, the one
beneath the Evo(which I considered was an Ironhead). A shame because I owned several over the years.
