Are you tired of the stigma attached to "switchblade"?

A growing number of collectors customize their automatic knives by changing scales, bolsters, blades, doing fileworks, ... Wether you're a guru or just a wannabe knife modder, this is the place to discuss it!

Yes! I was out in the city a few weeks ago and i had my balisong trainer and the waitress of a restaurant saw it in my pocket and called it a switchblade. Absolutely ridiculous!

Don't worry, most people don't know where their @$$ is, either.

I don't ever hear anyone calling SB's evil...but the word dangerous is mentioned. I pay no.attention as I keep mine in a curio cabinet and only bring them out when asked by a guest or just get the itch to hold one. The S&W .38 stays close by for GP.

I find that many times at my work I need the use of a one handed knife. I carry a Ravencrest RCT1 org knife daily. There is nothing EVIL about doing my job and God forbid that it never happens but if I ever need it for self defence I have no doubts on its performance.
