Question about Rizzuto

Post by Switch King »

Hello,
I have a question about the Rizzuto's.
I would like to know why in many Rizzutos the blade does not close properly.
What is the problem? And how can you solve the problem?

soft steel and poorly designed rockers/sears from soft metals allows premature wear at the sear contact points

You think Rizzutos are bad about that, try playing with the Korean clones, those things develop blade closing issues within the first 30 openings.
This is the magic incantation congress uses to constantly violate the 10th Amendment - "...the manufacture, sale, transportation, distribution, possession, or introduction into interstate commerce of such shall be prohibited"

Hi dark. Yeah, I know what you mean. I had a Korean clone Rizzuto that I bought back in the early 2000s and the leaf spring broke a few years ago. Very soft metal to such a cool looking knife. What a pity.

soft metal - bends
over hardened metal - breaks

I thank you all for your comments. :D
That is, there is no way that you can repair it :?:
Of course, without that costs are so high that I can buy a new.

This line should just be a sticky for Rizzutos in general.
