The use of 12/16 ga pullers, instead of the more common 12/20 is very astute

Are you sure, Al? All of my factory shell pullers are 12/16 gauge.Vagrant wrote:The use of 12/16 ga pullers, instead of the more common 12/20 is very astute
Re: Hunter lockback shellpuller
He may be referring to the fact a 20 gauge is more common here in the US than the 16 making the knife a little more authentic.whippersnapper wrote:Are you sure, Al? Seems the Europeans use 12 and 16 more often.
(I'm just guessing anyway)
Beautiful work Bill, the horn has a real pearl essence to it.
Do I detect a bezel around the button? Outstanding!

Re: Hunter lockback shellpuller
I sold all I had because they were the old "decorative only" ones,[so I can't check] they were 12/20 if memory serves mewhippersnapper wrote:Are you sure, Al? All of my factory shell pullers are 12/16 gauge.Vagrant wrote:The use of 12/16 ga pullers, instead of the more common 12/20 is very astute
16 makes much MORE sense because it is much more popular in Euroland [and Latin America] than it is in the U.S.
