A little info on buffing - starting with sheep horn
I'm not finding much info online at all about finishing this kind of scale material. this is the gold color deep grain kind of sheep horn. I have my scales sanded smooth. Some kind of wax I need? Thanks for your help, sir!

1750 RPM buffer, and green compound. Wash with WD 40, dry, paste wax.

Thanks! I will post before/after pics when it turns out.
Re: polishing sheep horn
I couldn't find green compound locally so I'll have to get that online for the next project. but I did find Tripoli - the package said it is great for horn so and buffed at 1700 and used the paste wax. Lots of details show up during buffing - mistakes/misses too! Thanks Mr. Bill.

is there an echo in here? I swear I heard it 3 times.
while youre getting the green rouge you may want to pick white for deep cleaner and brown for brass....its only about 3 bucks for each one.
