The last Hubertus shellpuller?

Post by Bill DeShivs »

I have finished a couple of these lately. When I did this one, I realized that I don't have any more laser cut shell puller bolster parts. Not sure If I want to order any more. It's a significant expense, and I have to have a lot of them cut to make it worthwhile.
Converting the new Otter made knives is a little more difficult than the older Hubertus made knives. Decisions, decisions.

Meanwhile here are pics of POSSIBLY the last one. Customer wanted a real lever on it.

Beautiful work as usual Bill. 8)

These conversions will be talked about like the leverletto design long after we are gone .

They will be sorely missed if you stopped doing them buI I understand the cost situation .More will be needed by new collectors and I for one have enjoyed seeing them in varying scales and filework during my time here .
