R.I.P. Jeff Beck

Post by jerryk25 »

Guitar virtuoso Jeff Beck has passed away . . .age 78
Rest in Peace Jeff. . .

Jeff was a comrade of Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page,
often playing in the same bands as a replacement crew member.

In the Yardbirds, Eric Clapton left, and Beck replaced him . .
and then later Beck left, to be replaced by Jimmy Page.

Beck often started short term groups to tour for one album release.
Where he played with Keith Moon, drummer for the Who.
or John Paul Jones bass player for Led Zepplin,
or Rod Stewart would sing in his group. . .

Famous bands like "The Rolling Stones" and "Pink Floyd" had considered him as
replacements for dear friends who could not continue in the band, or had passed away.

Jeff Becks list of top songs he was party to. . . . is extremely long . . .too long to list. . .

Rest in Peace Jeff. . .

Greetings, Legion Of Fan-

The loss of another guitar hero is upon our sadness. His "Where Were You ?" was in the soundtrack of mine life's adventures.
Eye saw him in concerts, the best of which was- Jeff Beck, Boston, and Heart from 2nd row center aisle seat in Rhode Island for $6.50.
Highlight of episode was when Nancy Wilson put one of her high heeled boots atop a stage level light box, and smiled at me whilst showing me her well trimmed muff. I smiled back in our frozen heart on moment, and that twat/grin sure took the edge of the after midnight hitch hike back to the home.

AS ever,
Your ol' pal,
Wally J. Corpse

Nothing like a well trimed muff, unless it's a horsey ride on it! You lucked out Wally.

Never saw Jeff Beck Live. . . .
Saw about 30 concerts. . .I forgot some. . . .

Never saw live muff on stage. . . .never been to a gentleman's club.
There was one lady entertainer at a Frat House rush party, that I didn't join.
Big hair and a white bikini.
other than that. . . just a few drunk chicks at weddings and such. . .
a girlfriend long ago, . . .and the Mrs. .

I kinda want to play some of my records . . . . but I got talked out of it . . .
Not allowed in the basement alone. . .no one wants to sit with me in my old man cave.
Too feeble to be unescorted. . .

My LapTop is my salvation . . .

Jeff Beck lives again onscreen.

Mr. Corpse,

The Wilson sisters were well known for their bearded clam displays whilst onstage. Sad to see Jeff finally buy the farm, but I'm surprised to see some of these guys actually live past 50, let alone 78. Before I die however, I'd really like to see a Bill DeShiv's bass solo of the macarena...

Best regards,

Bonz
