TRYKER

Post by john »

Hello Everyone,
Has anyone heard from TRYKER? He’s been posting on SD practically every day for a year and a half on the forum and recently there has been no sign of him. I just sent him a PM but I have not heard back. If anyone can get in touch with them let us know how he’s doing.

Obituary
DeCOSTA, David V. Jr. “Lance” of Sutton formerly of Norwood passed away on August 3, 2022 at the age of 71 following a brief illness. Son of the late David V. Sr. and Rita L (Phaneuf) DeCosta, he is survived by his brother Steven and his wife Joan of Norwood, his sister Gail Geary and her husband George of Norwood, and his longtime companion Carla Jeanean Story-Divoli and her children Hope and Aaron who considered him a father figure. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Dave was a retired Machinist from Adcole Corp. in Marlboro. He was an honored member of the Mason’s from the Montgomery Lodge in Milford, a proud member of the North Eastern Mountain Men’s Association and a communications specialist for the Search & Rescue Team of Central Massachusetts. Dave’s hobbies included ham radio operations, woodworking, leather tooling, knife collecting, and building and riding his motorcycles. He loved the outdoors especially hunting at Moose Ridge camps in Maine. His love for the outdoors brought him to a quaint lake in Sutton where he enjoyed the quiet life and his loving pets. Dave will always be remembered as a very kind man who gave much of himself to others. He will be greatly missed and thought of with love and gratitude. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 10am-11am at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood, MA. A graveside service will be held immediately following the visitation, 11:15am at Highland Cemetery, Norwood, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Second Chance Animal Services, secondchanceanimals.org.

Hi David,
Thank you for posting this very sad news. I was hoping he was on an exotic vacation having the most awesome time and he couldn’t reply because he had no internet service. He was a good man. I’ll miss him posting on SD and TB. Norwood isn’t far from my home I may go to the memorial service.

I didn't like posting this news, but his absence made it clear he was an esteemed member of our community and was greatly missed. Dave was a great guy. I enjoyed meeting him over lunch a few years ago. RIP David....
