Re: About Ivermectin
So, as I read it, it is an anti-inflammatory drug for people that already have covid-19.
That does not seem like an alternative to a vaccination preventing the disease.
An Ivermectin use philosophy does not address the suppression of a disease in a general population.
This sounds like a bunch of healthy young people can run around saying
"I won't vaccinate, I'll just treat with Ivermectin IF i "catch it"."
Allowing the disease to propagate thru a population, killing the weaker and older.
Allowing the disease to mutate in healthy people to become antibody resistant.
I would not stop anyone from requesting Ivermectin. . .
But that does not give them the freedom to spread any disease to me by not Vaxxing.
I'm already on Oxygen, and have been on IV antibiotics for blood sepsis twice this year.
I'm usually on oral antibiotics every 2 months, and currently am using Mupirocin for open wounds.
I've already have 3 Pfizer shots due to my age and immunity history.
I live in fear of someone not vaccinated coughing on me.

@jerryk25 : Pierre Kory MD can explain what ivermectin does in humans way better than i can.

Re: About Ivermectin
On Friday, October 15, 2021 Nebraska Attorney General Doug Peterson published his opinion on the prescription of Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine as off-label medicines for the prevention or treatment of Covid-19:

Re: About Ivermectin
That was a long read. . . .but, I'm a retired draftsman and I got time.
I did not listen to an Attorney General's opinion. . . who cares, he's not a doctor.
so, once again . . it does not prevent the disease, nor stop the pandemic.
In order for it to prevent the disease, you have to maintain a long term prescription dosage.
You can't take it once like a vaccine. . .you have to be "on it" for the duration. . .hoping you don't catch covid.
People that are "on a dosage" have to be careful of blood thinning, and stroke. . . or possible overdose.
Invermectin is essentially a chemical inhibitor.
It would not be a good thing "for me" . . to be put on an invermectin regular diet.
I am currently on antibiotic Doxycycline Hyclate 100mg daily, and topical Mupirocine antibiotic.
I can't "wait to catch covid" and then be treated.
Most likely if I catch covid. it would be fatal for me. I'm 70. Immuno-suppressed,
and 40% lung capacity. I'm a hunchback and am developing neurological problems.
I suffer renal failure and been on dialysis twice, I've been exposed to rare earth toxic metals at a chem plant.
I have stage 3 lymphedema (water retention and swelled legs), and stage 1 actinic keratosis (skin cancer with leg tumors)
I have artificial skin (lab grown) spliced to my legs and it often dies and leaves open wounds.
So I am essentially trapped in a "clean room" unless I'm wrapped up in full length leg wraps.
So people can advertise alternatives to vaccinations.. . . .but it's selfish for them to do so.
it only serves their own considerations, and provides no safety net for us weak links.
I would not stop anyone from requesting an alternative.
But I think the idea for the vaccine to work on a National Basis, and stop viral mutations,
and protect those of us who cannot risk the slightest exposure.
Everyone must get vaccinated. . . . .
because as long as there are possible infected unvaccinated people running around.
It's like I'm playing "Russian Roulette" with everyone I meet. . .and a percentage are saying to me "screw You !".

Re: About Ivermectin
I guess someday, , , I'll meet someone who didn't want to be vaccinated.
that'll be the end of me. . .
an only my cartoons will be left for people to remember me.
because I never really made a whole knife, with my tang stamp, on my own, , ,from scratch.
