A likely story

Do you want to talk about your beautiful country, family, or dog? Would you like to say where you went on holiday or how you arranged the garden? Are you willing to tell us you girlfriend left you for a(nother) loser? Do you have ANY non knife-related topic you want to discuss? This is the place!

A likely story

Post by ILikeStilettos »

Patricia Whack was on duty as the loan officer for First National Bank when a well dressed frog approached her desk.

"I'm Kermit Jagger", he said, "and I need to borrow $25,000 to take a desperately needed vacation."

"Do you have any collateral, sir?"

The frog reaches into his pocket and produces a tiny, perfectly carved, ivory elephant with tiny red ruby eyes, saying "I hoped I could use this."

"I'll have to ask my manager about that," she says and steps into the manager's office, closing the door behind her.

She grins at the manager and asks, "I can't believe this guy wants to borrow money on this collateral. What is this thing anyway?"

(You're gonna love this!)

The manager replies, "It's a nick-nac, Patty Whack. Give the frog a loan. His old man's a Rolling Stone!"

(Admit it, you sang that in your head, didn't you?)

"And you're telling me this because, somehow, I look like I give a shit?"

"Let a smile be your umbrella and you're gonna get your dumb ass wet."
