Please pray for Omega's wife

Do you want to talk about your beautiful country, family, or dog? Would you like to say where you went on holiday or how you arranged the garden? Are you willing to tell us you girlfriend left you for a(nother) loser? Do you have ANY non knife-related topic you want to discuss? This is the place!

She only escaped a DUI bacause the invetigating trooper was a friend of the family. That and the fact that as a former insurance investigator, I was able to keep him talking shop for four hours. He did get a BAC of .071 but didn't run a tox looking for other goodies. .08 is the limit here in KS.

UPDATE: Probably the last update in this awful tale. Personally, I'm happy as a clam over the new opportunities that lie ahead. My new Florida honey arrives this coming weekend to help me pack and sort thru a lifetime of collected bullshit that I can easily live without. NO......I'm NOT talking about my "collectibles," firearms or any of the other shit that sharon hated with such passion. I just don't know how I'm going to manage without those cherished wedding albums from my three former marriages. Trying to find one of those incredible machines that will turn them into Duraflame Logs.

Life continues to treat me well. Unfortunately, I am still battling insomnia and it doesn't help with the two cats playing their nightly cat games at 3:30am. They go something like this: "Look! there's an open box of pots and pans in the kitchen (says cat #1)! (Cat #2 says:) Lets spend the next hour jumping in and out of that box, making all the cookware clatter and clang until Dad gets up ans cracks open a can of Fancy Feast. BTW, the stuff isn't bad spread over Ritz Crackers, but I claim no responsibility for your gastric issues if any of you are foolish enough to listen to ANY advice from me!

Life Tip #2: I finally figured out the key to getting women to accept our love of springsteel; Give them a couple of their own. Click therapy in more gender neutral than I ever would have thought. Exception: Your significant other is one of Lorena Bobbit's relatives.

Life tip #3: Maintain a secret safe deposit box to store your personal collections of treasures like your porn collection of nuns dressed in skimpy lingerie (or whatever other perversities float your boat).

Follow those simple rules and you're assured of a lifetime of marital bliss or at least an occasional piece of ass. Excuse me, that's Dr. Phil McGraw calling to book me for an interview. At least SOMEONE values my opinions regarding marital happiness and/or cohabitational pleasures.

Have fun guys. Stay safe and healthy. Will be offline until after the move, but will occasionally monitor this place to assure its continued sense of decorum.

I am glad to hear you have your priorities straight regarding memorabilia. What I don't understand is why you got saddled with the wedding albums. Oh well. If there is a lot of plastic in those albums (covers, picture mounts, etc.), wait until the wind blows in a favorable direction then fire them up. The plastic might stink but it sure makes for a merry blaze.

I am fighting the proposal that we get a companion kitty for out 16# Mainecoon mix. I like things just as they are as the friendly and cuddlesome beastie does not wake at odd hours. He sleeps through, or if he does wander in the small hours, he is polite enough not to wake us. If we were to get another, I greatly fear we would experience the tag team scenario you describe. BTW, I'm partial to Wheat Thins.

As George Peppard was wont to say, "I love it when a plan comes together", and that certainly sounds like what is in your life now. Keep up the good work!

Hey Mr Natcherly!

I ended up with the wedding albums as abandoned property. I knew if I pitched them, someone somewhere would find a reason to bitch about it. So they've lived in a ragged cardboard box awaiting THAT day. Wife #1 died in 2008, so that one is safe to pitch. Wife #2 simply went batshit crazy one day not long after menopause. And of course #3 is still with us, but she's got adult kids by her 1st marriage, all of whom inherited "The Asshole Gene," from somewhere.

Reality kind of suggests I'm going to outlive #3. Probably within moments of her final breath those kids are gonna show up with a RYDER truck, demanding that I surrender whatever isn't nailed down whether it had anything to with #3 or not. We all know THOSE kind of people, but most of us are in deep denial as far as them being kinfolk. The present plan is to donate anything even remotely related to her to GoodWill if its not been claimed and removed shortly. Her 2018 Christmas gift will be the GoodWill receipt so she can use it as evidence of a charitble contribution on her next tax return. I always knew the IRS just had to exist for a reason and now, I think I've discovered the answer, LOL.

As far as your kitty adoption, while I love the look of Maine Coons, as a breed, they can become somewhat dominant over other cats, especially with the males. My personal preference is the American Shorthair. Great color and marking variants, mostly even-tempered and interact well with other cats and people. Whatever/whomever you select it needs to be named "CATZILLA."

Oh.... and here the tag-team wars are simply referred to as "Cat Business."

Howdy and thanks Jim D!

Packing coninues here. Finally broke down and bought one of those 50 gallon residential dumpsters on wheels from Home Depot to haul stuff out to the BIG dumstpers in the apartment building parking lot. My lady friend from Florida arrived and together, we've been sorting, packing and dumping stuff like crazy. She's taking some perverse pleasure with some of it too. Example: While packing a carton of #3's undergarments comes the question: "Chris, tell me the truth. Are THESE panties yours, or is Sharon really that big?" This is followed by shit-eating grins breaking out all around. In any event, have decided against a Ryder self-move - I don't want to haul all of it 1500 miles south myself - probably kill a half dozen other motorists in the process, not to mention what self-moves can do to one's remaining sanity. It's money well spent.

As for #3, God blessed her with her 4th orthopedic surgery which was completed at 4pm today. He and Satan have apparently conferred on these matters, and neither appear content to wait for her final arrival in either domain to dispense that which is due. There's just not enough Morphine to overcome her body's tolerance to its beneficial effects. When her body eventually clears all that stuff, there's going to be this WTF reaction to all that has changed in her "absence." Me.... I'll be long gone, as my existing lease conveniently ends at the end of this month.

In other developments, I've somehow managed to drop 40lbs since this shit began. I'm elated than I can once again see things in the shower which were previously obscured by belly overhang. I'm quickly learning to take happiness in whatever form it arrives, no matter how small. Oh....wait! That's not the way I meant to word that, but you get the idea. I know, TMI.

Anyway, I'll soon be back in residence in Sugarloaf Key, FL, I've always loved to dive and spearfish, plus I look years younger with a decent tan. There's so much nature to appreciate, especially around Spring Break. That also means having to play my music in bars at night with my new partner in crime. I refuse to return to my former shirt and tie real world job. Semi-retirement really agrees with me.

The PC is due to be packed up sometime next week, which seems to be the biggest downside, as my porn surfing will have to come to a brief halt, along with visitations to this place and other knife venues. The up side: there's a new laptop, plus free WiFi has popped up everywhere, even in the keys.

Thanks guys for all your support thru the navigation of this disaster. It has meant much to me. One word of advice, if I might be so bold: Don't wait too long to seek and find happiness. If I can survive and do it (well), so can you!

Warmly,

Chris (aka Omega)
