Rim Fire

Do you want to talk about your beautiful country, family, or dog? Would you like to say where you went on holiday or how you arranged the garden? Are you willing to tell us you girlfriend left you for a(nother) loser? Do you have ANY non knife-related topic you want to discuss? This is the place!

Don't sound good to me! That stuff was so bad we wouldn't sneak one out of the fridge when we were kids! Always drank the High Life but sense my boy moved in with me I don't drink much anymore.

Yeah Terry when I was a kid the big three department stores,JC Penney's,Montgomery Wards and Sears all sold guns in their sporting good section.
They may have had their own brand name stamped but seems like it may have been Stevens Savage.

There's a pub here that on a certain day,not sure which, they offer a PBR for a buck a can. They keep them in a huge steel tub of ice and only a few cases so when they are gone their gone.
PBR has really made a big come back in the last few years.

Jim I'd like to see that Browning, those are superb rifles. I like the SA-22,that is a work of art.

We had a Wards in the area I grew up in. I remember they had a couple of wood barrels cut down with what to me now seemed like some type of military surplus bolt action rifles in the $20 dollar range. In the early 60's that wasn't chump change, also before JFK was killed! I was probably 6 or 7 there about and didn't have a bb gun yet but that was where I stayed in a trance when grandpa took me there. He called it Monkeywards. Those were the days!
